With cooperation with MSA-UQ and MSA-QUT, GUMSA is collecting Zakat ul-Fitr money. It is $4 per person. The collected amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr money for the three MSAs will be sent to Pakistan to feed people. Currently Pakistan is really in need as they affected by flood. Thousands died and millions are homeless!

  • We will collect the Zakat after Jummah prayer on Friday 3 Sep at Multi-faith Centre at Nathan campus.
  • Also we will collect it on Monday 6 Sep 5pm-6pm at Nathan prayer room.

What is recommended during the nights of Ramadan is to spend them in Qiyaam, prayer and worship, and to single out the last ten nights for extra worship and striving, seeking forgiveness and mercy and seeking Laylat al-Qadr which is better than a thousand months.
